So your excellent small design team has pitched for that great project with big technical and BIM design requirements. Suddenly you are awarded the project and need to build up your tech and production capacity quickly and professionally. Do you do it in-house and try to borrow to carry the overhead, or do you grab the tiger by the tail and form alliances that are flexible? How do you stay in control of the beast?
This session will involve an interactive discussion about streamlining the adoption of the BIM model in small architectural practices. It will cover the ways of collaborating and working with BIM providers and colleagues in order to ramp up quickly and effectively in providing professional services.
Not the team itself, but each individual is:
James Katz, VP of Corporate Affairs and company co-founder, has joined the architects on the team by passing the LEED Green Associate exam this month.
“I have always felt very strongly about sustainability. I am proud that to demonstrate it with this certification. LEED is not just for our architects and engineers.”

Jon’s article on using facebook for business gets published first by the AIA and then mentioned in this article from ‘Design Intelligence’. Link below:
We appreciate the mention despite incorrectly calling Jon an intern.
We are still debating if we will use facebook in-house. We are sold on LinkedIn.
