First Baptist Church
First Baptist Dallas is a historic church in downtown Dallas, and they are planning an extensive renewal project, incorporating new buildings and the renovation of the existing sanctuary. Currently the project is in the planning stages, but is expected to exceed $100M in construction costs is approved to go ahead.
CADFORCE, working for The Beck Group, created a Building Information Model of all site elements of associated with First Baptist facilities and surrounding properties based on laser scans of existing conditions. The purpose of the model was to provide the foundation for design options and cost projections. The tools used were Leica Cyclone, AutoCAD, Revit and NavisWorks.
